A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone involved in making SPRIG’s February 7th Musicians for Refugees Benefit Concert a wonderful success!!

A special thanks to the members of The West Coast Chamber Players – Jim Stubbs, Lauren Stubbs, Nancy Washeim and Andrew Washeim – and The Sooke Harbour String Quartet – Anne McDougall, Sue Martin, Lee Anderson, and Trevor MacHaittie – for donating their time and talents. These nationally and internationally acclaimed musicians provided a lovely afternoon of music to a very appreciative audience. Over $2,500 was raised for SPRIG! Many thanks also to St. John’s United Church for donating the space for the concert, Island Blue for printing, and to Tanner’s Books for selling tickets. 

Finally, this event would not have been possible without the time and energy of volunteers. THANK YOU to Martha McCracken and her fellow committee members Linda Black, Carolyn Cade, Lisa Greenly, Dorothy Usher, Alexis White, Tracy White, and Michelle Wright.  Your efforts are truly appreciated!
